Annual Effort.jpg

Don't miss out on this Nationwide & Capital Area Community Service effort, now on its 31st year!

Spread the word to everyone you know and ask them (if they're able) to participate in food donation to fill the local food pantries in our community. Distribute tags in your own street and pick up (if your street isn't serviced.)

This year Cub Scout Pack 964 will join the efforts of BSA Troop 964 scouts.

All Cub Scouts and families will report to First United Presbyterian Church ready to rock-n-roll a long morning stroll!

November 3rd,  9 AM - Tag Distribution (ALL HANDS ON DECK NEEDED)
November 10th 9:45 AM - Donation Pick Up (ALL HANDS ON DECK NEEDED)

FUPC Address:

14391 Minnieville Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22193 (intersection of Minnieville Rd & Cardinal Rd)

Families will be divided into groups and go door-to-door into the community assigned to deliver about 1,000 notice tags. All hands-on-deck will be required to fulfill this grand effort in minimal time. The more helpings hands available, the faster the job gets done.

This is a RAIN or SHINE effort. Be Prepared for the weather.

1) Wear Class A uniform & a big smile.
2) Eat a good breakfast to get enough energy for this type of work/service.
3) Bring hiking essentials pack (don't forget water and/or snack).
4) Wear comfortable walking shoes.
5) Be on time for safety briefing and have fun!

We will go back into the same communities on Sat., Nov. 10 to pick up food donated.

Lets max out that million pound challenge!
