Den Meetings - WINTER 2019-2020

SCOUTS are encouraged to

invite friends to Join

them at a meeting to learn

about Cub Scouts. When a friend joins scouts can earn their

"RECRUITER" patch.

There's always something exciting to learn and do at den meetings.  Constant attendance will allow your Cub Scout the opportunity to cover many of the Required adventures and enjoy fun fellowship with fellow scouts.  Please notify your leader in advance if your scout cannot attend or if you're running late.

NOTE to Parents: If you're new to Cub Scouting, remember that many activities can be completed at home. Don't forget to alert your scout's Den Leader when you've completed a Requirement and log progress into Scoutbook. Please remind your scout to bring items suggested in Requirement page (if any) to share/present with den/leader.  Scouts wear Class A uniform to meetings (unless otherwise advised) and please remind your scout to go to the bathroom before the meeting, & bring filled water bottle.

Thank you so much for your support!

Pack 964 Leaders & Parents

Pack 964 is only as strong as its leaders and supporters.  We welcome parents to participate in our monthly meetings and encourage you to become as involved as you are able.  Whether it's through an hour of your time or planning and executing an entire activity through the year, your help and/or input is valuable to us. As in any other children's organization, the more involved the parents are, the stronger and more fun our Pack will be; and the main beneficiary of this effort will be your Scout, among other scouts and families.

Please come join us! We'll be glad to see you there!

Leaders/parents attend Roundtable to become aware of the latest training, events, information happening in our district and council.

May Pack Meeting

Reminder:  Class A Uniform is Required at most Scout events, including baseball games, Pack (group) outings, etc.

Field (Class A) uniform should always be worn fully, clean and tucked in. Please sew, adjust patches and affix patches as your scout receives them. Uniform Guide in scout's handbook or here helps to find the right place for them. Not all patches are worn on uniform.

Activity (Class B) tee is only for those days where scouts will be actively playing outdoors, splashing, working, sweating, possibly getting dirty, etc. Leaders may note what to wear in their weekly correspondence with parents. If in doubt, bring both Field & Activity (Class A & B). It is better to always be prepared.
