Please be on the lookout for other civic events that are open to the public and family friendly and let the Pack know. We always like to share these events with the community and allow our scouts the opportunity to participate as often as possible. Here are other coming events:

We are grateful for all our men & women in uniform, Past, Present & Future. We honor & salute you!
There is no better way to teach our children about CITIZENSHIP and our responsibilities as such than by DOING. They watch our every word and action and these are louder than any words we may ever say to them.

One of the Key Purposes of Cub Scouts involves learning, teaching and practicing Citizenship every where, everyday. Cub Scouts are the youngest public ambassadors of American Citizenship and Patriotism. Cub Scouts can teach kids their age what to do when it comes to Citizenship, just ask them.

Participating in local civic events (which are vast within our community) allows our scouts the opportunity to have a front-row seat to this privilege of ours, that is to practice our liberties of love & respect to country freely.

Whether or not there a requirements to satisfy, Pack 964 is always proud to take part in events which promote these experiences to everyone who is willing and able to join. Our Chartered Organization (CO), the VFW Post #1503 is a civic organization which promotes, sponsors and supports citizenship in various ways.
Every Cub Scout learns about Citizenship throughout his Cub Scout adventures and will continue to deepen their understanding when they crossover into Boy Scouts. It doesn't ever stop, even when they stop participating in Scouting. Here are some of those Requirements to get you started:
